Life ( Poem)

Life

           Man's life means

         Tender teens,

         Teachable twenties,

         Tireless thirties,

         Fiery forties,

         Forcible fifties,

         Serious sixties,

         Sacred seventies,

         Aching eighties,

               Shortening breath,

               Death,

               The sod,

                                       -      Joseph Cook.

Age and Success

  • Prayer flies where the eagle never flew.

  • I will prepare myself and be ready, and perhaps my chance will come. Abraham Lincoln.

  • Wherever your heart is, there your feet will soon take you. –  Roger Green.

  • Virtue shows quite as well in rags and patches as she does in purple and fine linen.

                     - Charles Dickens.

      အကျင့်သီလဆိုတာ ဝတ်ကောင်းစားလှ ဝတ်ရာမှာ ပြတတ်သလို၊

      နွမ်းပါးပြီး ဖါရာပါတဲ့ အဝတ်စုတ်မှာလည်း အပြည့်အဝ ပြတတ်ပါတယ်။

       I am only one, but I am one;

 I can not do everything, but I can do something;

and what I ought to do, by the grace of God I will do.

By grace I am what I am.          - Horatius Bonar.

If you want to feel rich,

just count up all the things you have that money can not buy. - Daniel Webster.

The enemies you make by taking a firm stand have more respect for you

Than the friends you make by straddling the fence.

God is a help in trouble.

In worry you are on your own.

Not to do what we ought to do is as bad as

Doing what we ought not to do. – George W. Truett.

We must be willing, individually and as a nation,

To accept whatever sacrifice may be required of us.

A people who value their privileges

above their principles soon lose both. – Dwight Eisenhower.

the burden of it to anyone else. -       Charles Dickens.

The only people with whom you should try to get even are those who have helped you.  – John E. Southward.

Everyone has a fair turn to be as great as he pleases. -  Jeremy Collier.

Live one day at a time. An article by Dr. Curtis Hutson

ဆိုရိုစကားလေးတခွန်း ဖတ်ဖူးတယ်။ "Yesterday is a canceled check; tomorrow is a promissory note; today is the only cash you have, so spend it wisely."

သူက ပြုံးပြီးတော့ " တခါစားရင် တကိုက်ပဲ စား " "One bite at a time."

And as thy days, so shall thy strength be. "

Dr. Tom Malone
