Great  is Thy Faithfulness သီချင်းအကြောင်း
Thomas Obadiah Chisolm (1866-1960) ဟာ လူလတ်ပိုင်းဘဝမှာ ခက်ခက်ခဲခဲ အသက်ရှင်ခဲ့ရသူပါ။ ကျန်းမာရေး ချူချာလွန်းလို့ အလုပ်မလုပ်နိုင်ပဲ၊ အိပ်ယာထဲ လဲနေခဲ့တယ်။ ဝေဒနာခံစားနေရတဲ့ကြားက လိုအပ်ချက်တွေကြောင့် အချိန်ပိုတွေမှာ အလုပ်မျိုးစုံ ပြေးလွှားလုပ်ကိုင်ခဲ့ရပါတယ်။

အသက် ၂၇ နှစ်အရွယ်မှာ ခရစ်တော်ထံ လှည့်ပြန်ပြီးနောက်၊ သောမတ်စ်ဟာ ကျမ်းစာဖတ်ရာမှာ မွေ့လျော်လာပါတယ်။ သူနေမကောင်းတဲ့အချိန်၊ အားနည်းနေချိန်တွေမှာ ဘုရားသခင်က အားပေးမ,စ ပြီး၊ လိုတာတွေ ဖြည့်ဆည်းပေးတာကို ကိုယ်တိုင်ခံစားလာရတယ်။ မြည်တမ်းစကား ၃း ၂၂- ၂၃ ဟာ သူအကြိုက်ဆုံး ကျမ်းပိုဒ်တွေတခု ဖြစ်လာပါတယ်။ “ထာဝရဘုရားသည် သနားတော်မူ၍ ကရုဏာတော်သည် မကုန်သောကြောင့်၊ ငါတို့သည် ဆုံးရုံးခြင်းသို့ မရောက်ပဲနေကြ၏။ နံနက်တိုင်း ကရုဏာတော်အသစ်ကို ခံရကြ၏။ သစ္စာတော်သည် ကြီးမြတ်ပါ၏။”

သာသနာပြုခရီးတခုမှာ ရောက်နေတုန်း သူရဲ့မိတ်ဆွေရင်း၊ မထင်ရှားတဲ့ ဂီတသမား William Runyan ထံကို စာမကြာခဏရေးခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ကဗျာတွေလည်း ဖလှယ်ခဲ့ကြပါတယ်။ ကဗျာတပုဒ်ကတော့ စိတ်လှုပ်ရှားစရာကောင်းလို့ Runyan အနေနဲ့ သံစဉ်ထည့်ပြီး သီချင်းဖွဲ့ဖို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်ပါတယ်။ Great is Thy Faithfulness သီချင်းကို ၁၉၂၃ မှာ ဖြန့်ချီခဲ့ပါတယ်။

အစပိုင်းမှာတော့ နှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာကြာအောင် သီချင်းက လူသိမများခဲ့ပါဘူး။ နောက်တော့ Moody Bible Institude က ပါမောက္ခတယောက်က အရမ်းကြိုက်ပြီး၊ ကျောင်းရဲ့ ဝတ်ပြုခြင်း အစီအစဉ်တွေမှာ မကြာခဏတောင်းဆိုရာကနေ၊ ကျောင်းသီချင်းနီးပါး ဖြစ်လာပါတယ်။

၁၉၄၅ ခု Billy Graham ဧဝံဂေလိတရားဟောပွဲမှာ George Beverly Shea က Great is Thy Faithfulness ကို စဆိုလိုက်ချိန်မှာတော့ ဒီသီချင်းကို ကမ္ဘာတဝှန်းလုံး ကြားလိုက်ရပါတော့တယ်။

Thomas Chisolm ဟာ ၁၉၆၀ ပြည့်နှစ်၊ အသက် ၉၄ မှာ ကွယ်လွန်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ သူ့ဘဝမှာ O To Be Like နဲ့ Living for Jesus အပါအဝင် သီချင်းတွေနဲ့အတူ၊ ကဗျာ အပုဒ်ပေါင်း ၁,၂၀၀ ကျော်ရေးသားခဲ့ပါတယ်။

“I will sing of the mercies of the Lord for ever: with my mouth will I make known Thy faithfulness to all generations.” (Psalm 89:1)
“အကျွန်ုပ်သည် ထာဝရဘုရား၏ ကရုဏာတော်ကို အစဉ်အမြဲ သီချင်းဆိုပါမည်။ ကိုယ်တော်၏သစ္စာကို လူမျိုးအဆက်ဆက်တို့အား ဟောပြောမြွက်ဆိုပါမည်။” – (ဆာလံ ၈၉း ၁)
